Solid Flight Augers

Solid flight augers are commonly used for drilling in unconsolidated formations for construction and mining applications.

To advance the borehole, a cutterhead that is approximately 1/2" larger than the augers is attached to the end of the auger string. As the augers are rotated the cutting head is advanced into the ground, and the cuttings are circulated to the surface along the continuous flighting.

Hole Products rugged solid flight augers are manufactured to perform in the most demanding conditions.  Premium quality steel, heat treated tool joints, and optional hard faced flighting ensure excellent performance and durability.  

Solid flight augers are available in sizes from 2 1/2" through 12" (identified by the hole size) and hex sizes 13/16", 1 1/8", 1 5/8" and 2".
